My goal this year is to recognize students who show characteristics and habits that are desired by employers. We talk about soft skills, social skills, academic skills, technical skills, etc. They are all important. My goal is to remind students that hard work, effort, punctuality, meeting deadlines, being a team player, etc are important. If you can show an employer you have these skills, you can learn to do many jobs. There are occasions where employers might hire a little less experience if they feel a person has the skills to lead, be part of a team, be "molded", and contribute in a positive way. So a big THANK YOU goes out to: Dylan, Taylor, Kyle, Matt, Miranda, and Katie. Nice job!
